Coffee effects the brain, and makes you smarter, in a number of ways; the two most notable are with adrenaline and dopamine. Coffee increases your adrenaline. Adrenaline is known for putting your body in a state of flight or fight which can translate to an increased awareness of your surroundings. This coupled with the benefits of dopamine, which we discuss in a moment, can have a profound effect on your brains capacity to handle any situation. Coffee increases your dopamine levels. Dopamine makes you smarter because it works as a brain receptor. Receptors are responsible for transmitting information and can help with your working memory and learning. So while you have an increased awareness due to the adrenaline, you also have an ability to absorb information and learn more during those experiences. How many other beverages can say they actually make you smarter?
Bonus Reason: Coffee Makes You Happier
Dopamine is also a factor in elevating your overall mood. When dopamine is released it effects the reward center of your brain thus putting you in a better mood. This can also increase your desire to drink more coffee, a.k.a addiction, but with all the benefits coffee offers I am not sure that’s a bad thing! Obviously, Coffee Makes You a Better Person.

A few of the more notable ones are a variety of different cancers, brain diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, diabetes and heart disease. Coffee not only helps prevent disease but it also helps keep you in shape. It can help decrease muscle pain during your work out and give your adrenaline and metabolism a boost in the process.
Reason 3: Coffee Tastes Better (offers more taste)
Depending on your taste preference this may or may not be true but one things for sure coffee offers more variety of taste, which increasing your mathematical chances of find a flavor to fall head over heals in love with! Coffee has so many different possible flavors that it blows the mind. Coffee has over 800 aromatic compounds. To give you an idea of how many that is, wine has around only 200 aromatic compounds. Coffee dominates the beverage industry with it’s ability to excite and keep your tongue interested. That is why it is so devastating to me when people say they put cream and sugar in their black coffee. Black coffee on it’s own presents an almost infinite number of possibilities for flavor combinations and anyone can learn to enjoy coffee in it’s purist form.
